How to create footer with Elementor in WordPress

The footer on all website is on the bottom of the webpage. Footer, like your feet, carries the whole webpage. In web designing, the footer can be designed to have a business logo, menus, buttons, texts, and links.  An Elementor is a plugin that comprises several tools to insert images, Title, text, buttons, sections, and columns among others. Below is a step by step on how to create footer using Elementor.

Create Footer using Elementor and Ocean Wp. 

Make sure you have logged in to your WordPress account, and that you have prepared webpage body.

Here are procedures to follow so as to create a nice footer.

Having installed Elementor and Ocean  WP plugins, be ready to follow these procedures.

  • On the dashboard, click customize
  • Scroll down and click Footer Bottom
  • Click to open it.  Copy the date code as shown below

  • After you copy the code, go back to the menu and click to open it.
  • Click Add Menu button, and give it a name.
  • Click to create the menu.
  • Click Add items, and on your right click to select the pages you want to be on footer menu

Now you can check whether the menu appears in your footer. Go back to the dashboard and click Theme to create a new template. Set the footer to have a full width, and disable the title.

After you create a template, click publish and be ready to edit with Elementor. 

When Elementor is opened, add a new section. Select to add three column. As shown below.

On your left column, select to insert a logo. From Elementor menu, drop and drag an image icon. Select the column and from left tab click to insert the logo from your database.

For the centre column select to insert social media icons and the third column Add other buttons. The final diagram should be looking like the image below
