How to make a sticky header in any WordPress Website




Sticky header is the header that tends to stick at the top of the page as one scroll down. Most WordPress themes offer this functionality. In case you find a pretty theme without a sticky header, this tutorial will show you how to implement it on your website.

How to Enable Sticky Header on WordPress Website Using a Plugin

Using plugins is one of the easiest ways to enable sticky header on your website. To do this we will use the Sticky Menu (or Anything!) on Scroll plugin. This plugin is simple to use and sticks any element of the WordPress website.

Go ahead and install the Sticky Menu (or Anything!) on Scroll plugin. After activating it, proceed to dashboard, then hover on settings and select Sticky Menu or Anything.

On the landing page, fill in the element that you want to stick, on our case we want header fixed at the top, go ahead and get the CSS Id or CSS class of your website header and add it to the sticky menu plugin as shown in the image below.
